Artist

Ceramic Sculptor, Tenille Blair-Neff lives in Bronx, New York She became interested in ceramics at the age of 14. She attended Fort Hays State University in western Kansas studying under figurative ceramic sculpture and Professor Linda Ganstrom. After receiving her BFA she moved to New York City to pursue a graduate degree in Art Therapy from the College of New Rochelle. She graduated with her M.S in Art Therapy in May of 2003 and is currently working as an art therapist serving adults with various mental illnesses.

Tenille recently had a solo exhibit at The Clay Art Center in Port Chester New York titled “Loathsome Creatures” and will be featured in an upcoming book by NYU Professor Judith Schwartz titled “Confrontational Clay: The artist as Social Critic”. Tenille’s sculpture is informed by her work as an art therapist and revolves around various aspects of the human psyche.

Project
